FEATURE · TICKETS
Discord tickets that reach the right staff.
Members open a private ticket channel from a ticket panel with five categories: Support, Report a player, Bug report, Booster rewards, Staff report. Staff reply in the channel and Close ticket when resolved. Statuses are open, closing, closed.
- Support
- Report a player
- Bug report
- Booster rewards
- Staff report
Members pick a category on the ticket panel, complete the form, and get a private ticket channel. Staff reply in the channel and press Close ticket when the request is resolved. The panel heading reads “ARK Bot · Help Desk”.
Publishing is managed: open /settings → Tickets to choose the ticket category, staff role, and panel channel, then Publish / Update posts or refreshes the same panel message in place.
Open /settings → Tickets → Transcripts to choose a private transcript channel for normal ticket types, override or disable a type, and test the destination without sending ticket content. Staff reports never inherit the shared channel; they stay off until a separate senior-only channel is chosen.
Frequently asked questions
Which categories can members choose?
Support, Report a player, Bug report, Booster rewards, and Staff report. Staff reports route to a separate staff-report category visible only to senior staff.
Where does the ticket conversation happen?
Each form submission opens a private ticket channel that only the member and staff can see. Staff reply there and use Close ticket when resolved; statuses move through open, closing, and closed.
How is the panel published?
Admins choose destinations in /settings, then Tickets, and use Publish / Update to post the managed panel message. Changing settings updates the same message in place.
Are staff reports really private?
Yes. Staff-report tickets open in the staff-report category with the senior staff role, so regular staff cannot see them.
